Meet the team:

Vehicle Operations' essential function at Argo is to safely execute the test and road operations initiatives set forth by our engineering teams. Vehicle Operations consists of a team of experts who understand Argo’s underlying vehicle technology and programs. Today’s autonomous vehicles require a unique prior map of the world they are operating within for everything from navigation to context of the environment around them. It’s Vehicle Operations role to collect the initial map data and then continuously QA those maps once they are complete. 

What you’ll do: 

The Fleet Operations Technical Writer will own the operational documentation for the Fleet Operations team. Working closely with Operations Managers, Compliance, and Software Engineering, the Fleet Operations Technical Writer will be directly responsible for the creation and maintenance of documents within the Fleet Operations team including: 

• Policies and procedures 
• Technical manuals 
• Training material
• Release notes
• Test plans and test reports
• Work instructions and end-user documentation

Additionally, the Fleet Operations Technical Writer will be responsible for the organization and storage of the Fleet Operations documentation in a manner that makes it easy to access and understand.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Previous experience developing technical material for a highly-technical operations team
• Strong background developing process and training for a complex operations system
• Highly organized with focus on document architecture
• Detail oriented mindset with a focus on safety and procedure

• Previous experience with Confluence
