The Google Cloud Information Experience (iX) team is part of the Developer Relations organization. Our mission is to drive customer success by winning the hearts and minds of developers through inspiring and educating them about Google Cloud. We meet these goals by creating content that helps new and existing customers use our technology to implement their use cases and build their businesses.
Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) writers are experienced, dedicated, diverse, and highly technical (many of us used to be developers), and we care deeply about making our customers wildly successful. We constantly look for ways to improve the content we create, not only making sure that it's technically accurate, but also ensuring that it's clear, concise, well structured, and discoverable.
In this role you'll provide a managed environment for deploying, managing, and scaling containerized applications using Google infrastructure. The GKE environment consists of multiple machines (specifically, Compute Engine instances) grouped together to form a cluster. You will help to cultivate an inclusive environment that lets your team thrive while creating technical content for GKE customers.
As a technical writing manager, you'll help technical writers take complex information and communicate it clearly, concisely, and accurately. With a unique cross-functional perspective, our team of technical writers is the key link between our engineers, our developer advocates, and external users and developers who comprise the Google ecosystem.
