Our client is a world leading producer of high tech mechatronic machines for the chip industry. The company is based in the Netherlands and operates worldwide. Their manufacturing engineering department introduces new products and corresponding processes from development until volume production, including the system installation and qualification process at the customer location, continuously adapts and optimizes the production and installation processes and provides support.

 Job Mission
The technical writer writes reviews and publishes the technical manufacturing procedures necessary to produce the clients' products in manufacturing and install them at the customer site. This means working closely with the engineering team to produce these procedures needed for production, maintenance, repair, upgrade and installation of the systems via the clients dynamic publishing software environment.

Job Description
You will be participating in an engineering team, preparing technical documentation directly together with the manufacturing engineer. You will be responsible to ensure a uniformly high standard of technical documentation for the team.

Prepare complex technical procedures clearly and accurately in simple English with a methodical approach. Review comments on existing procedures and assigns for review by engineers where necessary.

Education
Master level or Bachelor level (3+ years’ experience)

Experience
Experience as a technical writer.
Experience with EPIC software is an advantage.

Personal skills
Proven excellent fluent communication skills in English, written + verbal.
You are pragmatic, persistent, pro-active and you have good communication skills. You are a real team player, but also able to work independently. You dare to take initiative and ownership. Last but not least you are service orientated and you have a flexible attitude.
